Hot topic in congregations: having a beard/goatee

i am starting this topic because i was wondering, i see many who leave "the truth" are glad because they can finally have a beard.

is having a beard really a no go in congregations?

how is / was it in your congregation?.

As a former JW (disassociated), I later realized around my fifth year as a JW that facial hair was not something of concern to Christ - our ONLY Teacher - or to the disciples he taught.

Facial hair became a concern of a certain "man" among the human family: The Anglo-Saxon. It is a man-made concerned being pushed off as something God and Christ cares about.

All one has to do is look at how Adam, Eve, Angels, Jesus, The Prophets, The Apostles and others are portrayed in WT literature, in art, film and literature. They are in the likeness of the Anglo-Saxon. (See image below) I am sure many of you recognize the image below of Adam and Eve as it appears in Watch Tower publications. How did this Adam become so clean shaven? How did this Eve get such a "beauty-salon" look? What is the clothed man in the white robe - who supposed to be Jesus, I guess, doing there?

I think it is a gross stretch of the truth to call this image - well - "truthful!"

No one has ever seen Adam and Eve to portray them in the likeness of any race among the human family. No one today has seen Jesus to portray him in the likeness of any race among the human family. Plus, Jesus ascended into heaven and is not flesh and blood. He is an invisible spirit being and is in the form he had prior to be sent into the world of mankind. So why is someone working overtime to get all of the world to visualize him in a form is not in at present? And, please stop with the line that these are just "illustrations." They are more than that! They are lies and misrepresentations.

I now live in Africa and I see the harmful impact these images of have on African people; especially African children. They grow up fearing "White people" and having little or no respect for those of their own color and other non-Whites in the world. Well, no wonder! They visualize God and Christ as somehow White! "Whiteness" is revered and that is how someone want it to be.

One must be careful with calling ANYTHING other than Jesus Christ "The Truth."

When JWs use the expression, "In the truth" what are they saying? They are saying that if one is in the Watch Tower organization - that is, a member of it - that one is "in the truth." Thus, really saying that "the organization" is "the truth!"

The baptismal vow I took back in 1991 stated (and I paraphrase) that unless I am associated with God's earthly spirit-directed organization, I cannot be known as a Jehovah's Witness (worshiper of God). The Watch Tower organization teaches that unless one is associated with "the organization" they will lose out on eternal life. Whoa partner !!!

Jesus said at John 14:6 that he is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father but by him. No organization on earth has the power to grant or take away eternal life. Jesus said that he is the life. No organization is "the way" to the Father, Jesus alone is the way. One does not need to join an organization. Jesus, not an organization, is "The truth" and his followers are to be "membered" or "attached" to him.

But an anomaly has crept in and inserted itself where it does not belong: as mediator, life giver, truth-bearer, director of men and women. It acts as if "it" died for all of mankind. It has stolen what is not theirs: Mankind. Mankind belongs to Christ.

When religious organizations set up rules ones must meet in order to qualify as having good standing with God and they cast out from among themselves who they see fit as being rebellious because one disagrees or has facial hair (for example), then they set themselves up as God to do as they please with those Masters slaves. Only the master can accept or reject. But no, religious organizations are doing that!

It is blasphemous to call organizations, "the truth."

It is blasphemous to call a book that man decided to call "The Bible" The Word of God! NO ONE OR NO THING should share this title with the ONE WHO IS the Word of God: Christ Jesus.

I have trained my ears to listen to the conversations many claiming to follow Christ have. It rare to hear one say, "According to Christ" or "Christ says" or "Christ teaches." Rather, they will say, "According to the Bible" or "The Bible says" or "The Bible teaches." Many attribute what Christ says as "The Bible" saying it.

This is wrong as Christ is our only Teacher and we are his students (disciples). The Bible is NOT a teacher and we ARE NOT to be its students or disciples. (Matthew 23:7-8)

The Watch Tower Organization in plain view on its website has shown "what" is The Teacher. It is not Jesus Christ! It is "The Bible." Don't believe me? Pay a visit to the official website of JWs at www.jw.org and look at the links in the menu on the home page. The second link in the menu is entitled "Bible Teachings." So it is "The Bible" not Christ Jesus who has "teachings." I have always wondered why doesn't the Watch Tower place in its menu, "Christs Teachings" instead? How in the world does a book have "teachings?" God did not send us a book, he sent us his son and he commanded us to listen to his son and no one or anything else. (Luke 9:35).

Yet, a book gets prominence over a person who is our only teacher and a book shares the holy and lofty title as "The Word of God!" (Rev 19:13)

JWs can articulate very well why there is only one God. Yet, fall short in articulating that there is but one Word of God. JWs should not accuse Trinitarians of teaching three Gods in a Godhead until it is willing to teach that there is only one Word of God, not two. Both Jesus and the Bible cannot be the Word of God. That is like having two masters. We have only one master.

I chose Christ.

I am a 35+ year ex-JW. I left the organization quietly under my own stream (by disassociation) and it came as an utter shock to the 120-member congregation I was attached to. There was never any signs or indication of this.

What I can tell you is this: The events of "The revelation by Jesus Christ that GOD GAVE him" (Many call it The Book of Revelation) has not had a start at being fulfilled. Not one solitary thing.

All that the empire of Christianity and the WTBTS has been teaching about it has been in gross error and they have all been reckless and irresponsible in teaching what is more than 1000 years into the future.

There is no false prophet, no wild beast, no babylon the great, no 144,000, no scarlet-colored wild beast, no kings of the earth, no kingdom of the good news message, etc. These are yet to come. (In fact, no human will be entrusted to preach the perfect good news of the kingdom message, an angel will be given that message. See Rev 14:6. So what ever the WTBTS and JWs say they are preaching, it is not the good news of the kingdom message because God has not given it yet and when he does, only ONE angel will be given it to preach. I believe that angel is Michael (Jesus). He is the "Faithful Witness" and only one who has earned the right to preach it. (Revelation 1:5 and Matthew 24:14)

Some one is telling you that the false prophet is the dual Anglo-American power. This is false. What religious organizations are doing are attempting to make it into our time period today, what is to appear in a distant time period.

What many have yet to know and come to understand and realize is that "The revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him" is about the events that will occur on the earth AFTER his 1000 year kingdom over the earth ENDS and Satan is un-Abyssed. (Rev 20:6-7)

The key to understanding what I said is true is to look at what John said as the reason why it was given: At Rev 1:1 as . He said: "to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place."

TO SHORTLY TAKE PLACE !!!

THINK !!!

How long has it been since John wrote down the revelation presented to him by the angel? It has been over 1900 years ago. No human lives that long! So how Christs slaves be shown what must SHORTLY take place? Millions of slaves are long dead and buried for many 100s of years awaiting the promised resurrection. So how can THEY be showed what MUST SHORTLY TAKE PLACE?

UNLESS ...

ALL of those slaves are resurrected from their graves and are standing up on the earth!

In other words, in order for the "TO SHOW HIS SLAVES THE THINGS THAT MUST SHORTLY TAKE PLACE" would make any sense, the great and promised resurrection of ALL of mankind would have to occur FIRST. (John 5:28-29)

This promised resurrection has not occurred yet. But when it does ...

Then we will have a situation on earth were ALL of Christs slaves (which is ALL mankind because he purchased all of mankind via his sacrificial death. See 1 Cor 11:3), will have been resurrected and ALL stand up again alive.

Now the question is: What is it EXACTLY are the THINGS that Christ's slaves need to be shown that would shortly take place. Please understand SHORTLY TAKE PLACE FROM WHAT TIME OF REFERENCE?

ANSWER: The revelation is a chronicle and warning about what will SHORTLY take place AFTER Christ 1000 year age or kingdom over the earth ends! Satan is un-abyssed and establishes his kingdom or throne over the earth: The Wild Beast. Recall at Rev 13:2 that dragon will give to his Beast "his" power, "his" THRONE and "his" authority. (Also see Rev 2:13)

THIS IS WHAT JESUS IS WARNING HIS FOLLOWERS ABOUT. That they know what will happen after his future kingdom of 1000 years ends and he is no longer with them. Satan will be released! And, when he is released, this is what going to happen!

Many people do not understand that this is precisely what Jesus' disciples were asking him about at Matthew 24:3. They were not asking Jesus about when THIS PRESENT world would end. They were asking about when his future 1000 year kingdom would end! It was THAT "age" or System of Things they were interested in knowing would end. That is why they asked about "the sign" or "single event" that would signal his kingdom presence!

Thus, Jesus disciples were asking Christ at Matthew 24:3, (1) "When will your kingdom begin (the sign of it beginning) and (2) when will it end!"

Tie this into what I stated about the revelation being a warning about the events that will occur after Christs 1000 year kingdom over the earth ends!

Everything you have been told and taught about the "Revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place" has been in error or an outright lie and fabrication. Created to mislead you and draw you off course.

People, you are looking at the wrong time period!

Challenge: Given what I have just said, carefully read the revelation account. Do so without the prejudice of what you have been told by the Watch Tower or any other religious organization or individual. Read it fresh. Connect the dots!

"We Already Forgive Him" - What Does That Mean?

he hates black people and probably regrets not killing even more.. what does it really mean to forgive?.

if the legal system asked the victims relatives what they want done next would they ask for dylaan to go free and unpunished?.

To forgive is a wonderful thing. But forgiveness is not to come without knowing "why" one is forgiving. Jesus knew precisely why he asked forgiveness for his accusers, persecutors and executioners: Because they did not know what they were doing.

I do not believe that one should forgive for the sake of blindly forgiving. I blame the religious system - called by men - Christianity for indoctrinating people with a type of forgiveness teaching Christ never taught.

"Christianity" has a full history of bloodshed and the oppression of others. Namely, The Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades, The Salem Witch Trials, it's involvement in war, and what I take personally - The African Slave Trade.

It was a Roman Catholic Pope - Pope Nicholas V - who sanctioned and endorsed the Slave Trade. He was a racist and bigot.

The United States of America and much of Europe (especially Great Britain) who was actively involved in The African Slave Trade and becoming wealthy from it (Christian nations), NEVER apologized to the people whose ancestors that enslaved!

It seems to me that "Christianity" is always the first to point out the atrocities and heinous acts of others and demanding what it does to be overlooked, justified or forgiven but not prone to forgive others.

When people - in this case Black church folk who get on television - and forgive, what is this REALLY? It gives all racist and bigots (many of whom hide behind Christianity such as the KKK) a license to murder Black people (or anyone else) with the belief that those poor people have a forgiving mindset.

The media is eating this stuff up. The Black ministers and politicians are playing it all up as well and lying beneath the surface is money. A lot of money is going to be made from this event and everyone is in on the game!

I blame Christianity for that. This is not what Christ had in mind with regards forgiveness.

True forgiveness cannot be superficial and just mere words spoken. It has to be a part of you. In your blood, bones and marrow. It has to come from deep from within. True forgiveness can only be given from love. If those offended are not willing to give their lives up for this man, then they do not love him. So how can they have forgiven him? Jesus gave his life up even for those who hated him.

I am doubtful that the family claiming to have forgiven Roof REALLY forgave Roof. They said what they said as it sounded like the right thing to say. Inside, them is grief and hurt and anger.

I submit as well that it is wrong of the media and anyone else to ask any person victim to such a thing, "Do you forgive this person?" What a terrible thing to say!

Forgiveness should be "private." It should be something the individual resolves within himself. When Jesus asked his Father to forgive his accusers, persecutors and executioners, he did not announce from the torture stake to those people "I forgive you." They would never know from Jesus' own lips that he forgave them. Neither did they know or understand that the very "act" of Jesus dying was for their benefit.

Why is it then, we think that we must announce to all of the world when we have forgiven someone. It should be by what we do with regards those we forgive (privately) that shows that we have TRULY forgiven someone.

Words and holding "Bible Studies" are powerless and do nothing. These are all superficial things. (That is how this world wants us, superficial beings). It is what we do in showing love towards friend and foe alike that proves that one is a disciple of Christ - not words.

Jesus said at John 13:35: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Love is an "action" not words spoken.

Christianity is not from Christ, it is from men. It is actually the enemy to Christs teachings. (Christ never call himself a Christian. He never called his disciples Christians and never commanded such a thing. His disciples never called each other Christians. What men call Christianity is an impostor. It's coming was foretold by Christ at Matthew 24:4-5)

It has created mental dysfunction and impairment in the masses on the earth. Even among the sincere and innocent.

Anointed, Crazy, Overzealous, or Good Acting?

i don't believe for a second that the wts can be god's chosen organization, if he does have an earthly one, especially one with such a hypocritical past.

but the question begs; why are there people professing having the heavenly calling usually found in the wts?.

Jesus never spoke of such a thing and we never see his disciples speaking of such a thing.

There was not centralized earthly entity in which Christs disciples would be taught. In fact, Christ said that "he" is the way, not any human or religious organization.

The Apostles understood this well as Paul states at Hebrews 13:13-14 said that no such "city" (organization) had arrived yet. That we await its coming.

Let us, then, go forth to him outside the camp, bearing the reproach he bore, or we do not have here a city that continues, but we are earnestly seeking the one to come.

Notice that we are not told to go INTO or to join a city (organization), but rather GO OUT TO where Christ suffered. Christ had no place of organization (city) to go into and neither would his disciples until his kingdom of 1000 years would arrive. Christs kingdom is yet future. If it was here at present, Jesus promised a condemned man - now dead more than 2000 years - that he would be in that kingdom. Where is he? Certainly he would have something to say. Well, that man is still in his grave awaiting that promise. (John 5:28-29)

There is no earthly organization, no 144000, no 666, no wild beast, no good news message, etc as these things have not arrived yet. The figs on the trees are not ripe yet. This is not the season or time period Christ was referring to. He was referring to the time period AFTER his 1000 year kingdom would end and Satan is released from his prison. Plus, God's kingdom will not come down to the earth until after Christs 1000 year kingdom ends and Satan's wild beast ascends, is established on the earth, runs it course and then ends. (Rev 20:6-8 and Rev 21:1-2)

The WTBTS and other so-called Christian organizations have completely misled the world and has created their own prophetic time-tables and millions have subscribed to them.

Yet, Jesus was clear about what he said at Matthew 24:42:

Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming.

Unfortunately the Watch Tower organization has not listened to the Master and HAS published a date, 1914. Essentially thumbing its finger at The Most High and His Son by stating that they KNOW! They know what Christ says that he does not know nor the angels. (Matthew 24:36 and Acts 1:7)
The WT has really called Christ a liar and false without actually saying it. It's 1914 teaching has completely fallen on its face and failed. Yet, it is a teaching upon which all prophetic teachings on the WT are built upon. It is a house of cards that has crashed and it has not recognized that it has crashed. (This is called being in denial for being spiritually drunk).
All of that "partaking" stuff is a control mechanism to fulfill a WT prophecy that there are anointed chosen ones today and that they reside with the WTBTS. It is all a ruse and a lie.
The arrival of the 144000 or a remnant thereof has not occurred yet. This must be seriously considered. One should not believe that they have been around because the Watch Tower organization says so.
The key: Is understanding that the "Revelation by Jesus Christ that God gave him" has not had a start at being fulfilled. That book is all about the events that will occur AFTER Christs 1000 year kingdom ends and Satan is released from the abyss. That is what Christ by:
to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. (Rev 1:1)
"Shortly take place" AFTER his paradise 1000 year kingdom over the earth ENDS.
That is why his disciples asked him the question at Matthew 24:3:
When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things.
They were not asking Jesus about the end of THIS world, but the ending of his future 1000 year kingdom! Why? Because they knew that ALL of mankind (even them) would be resurrected into it and would be interested in its ending because Satan would be released!
Since all of Christ slaves would be together in those future days, it is how Jesus could show "his slaves" - all of them - who would then be alive because of being resurrected, "The things that must shortly take place."
The world today is trying to make the events of a very distant future fit into our time period today. It is the wrong time period!
While the world looks at many events (SIGNS), Jesus said there would be no signs. He said there would be a SIGN. (Matthew 24:30)
That sign would not be seen on earth by any human. But would be seen "in heaven." A place no human on earth can look into.
That sign will be witnessed by all of the angelic host including Satan. What is that sign? The coronation of Christ as earth's king. No human has been invited to that event.
That is why Christ could say at Matthew 24:42: "YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming."
No human will see that sign to know when it has occurred.
It is only when the dead live again will the world "see" that he has returned and has begun to rule his kingdom.
The WT has it all wrong. The Governing Body are intelligent men. They have to know this. But pride in admitting gross error prevents them from saying anything. It could be too costly and many would lose faith and confidence in "The organization" and leave.

Noah's Flood! Noah did not flood anything, God did.

When I read at Genesis 1:2, I read that at the beginning of the creation of the earth, its surface was all water. So how can Noah's flood be accountable for all of the water on the earth?

God had not yet confused mankind's language so there was no one dispersed through out the earth to flood out.

The area in which Noah and his family lived as all of "the world" that there was. It was that small area that was flooded out.

There is no way Noah could have traversed a planet the size of the earth to gather animals. Obviously, Noah gathered animals within the area in which he lived. That was his world.

Aquatic life existed billions of years before man came on the scene. I think it is foolish to put dates on things like this because men cannot be trusted and are - sadly - LIARS and scam artist who will sell their mothers for money or fame. For everyone make such a claim, you can find another scientist making a counter claim. They fight and bicker all the time. Egos get in the way. So who is to be believed?

I resent the one-sided European-conceived universe explanation of everything in the world. There are other races among the human family who has not been permitted to have have input. They have been historically shut out and one race among the human family is doing all of the telling.

People, people, people.

Nothing should "according to the Bible", "according to the Watch Tower, or according to ANY religious organization. These are things created by men.

Rather, if one is disciple of Christ, it should be according to what he says.

Yet, the WT organization (men) has made a book what Christ alone is (The Word of God) and it has made an organization as high as heaven to those within it. People hinge on every word that comes out of the mouth of the organization.

Yet, Jesus said:

It is written, ‘Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through God's mouth.'

God never told anyone that a religious organization is his mouth or word. Christ is.

The problem here is subtle, yet powerfully deceiving: We are not to follow men. This illustration shows "a man." The man represents "religious organization" NOT the INVISIBLE God or His INVISIBLE SON our true Head and Master. (1 Cor 11:3)

What this illustration is really saying is: "Return to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society" and follow what it teaches.

There is a vast difference between being "membered" with a religious organization and being "membered" with Christ. We are to "attach" ourselves (member ourselves) with Christ, NOT with religious organizations that men establish and arrogantly claim come from God.

If a married (membered) woman attaches herself to another man, she becomes an adulterer.

If any of us attach or member ourselves with anyone or anything other than our Master Christ, we become adulterers.

Sadly, the world takes upon itself fancy names and titles such as Jehovahs Witnesses, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventist, Catholics, Lutherans, etc. Name and titles Christ never used or told us to take upon ourselves. Christ NEVER told us to be called "Christians" either! He told us to simply be known as "his disciples" and to make other disciples. He did not say go out and make Jehovahs Witnesses, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventist, Catholics, Lutherans, etc.

Yet, when one takes upon himself a name or title other than "disciple of Christ" that person becomes an adulterer. The title they take identifies who they are "membered" with and who their owner is.

Jehovahs Witnesses, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventist, Catholics, Lutherans and all of the other denominations are NOT disciples of Christ. Their fancy titles identify or mark who they answer to and who is their "true" owner and Head.

For example, the WTBTS and the Governing Body is the true owner and Head of JWs. The Pope for Catholics, etc.

Not once do we read of Jesus EVER calling His God and Father Jehovah. Jehovah is a made up name that an organization took upon itself to promote as God's name. Yet, Jesus never used a name.

Even in prayer, Jesus never used a name. He addressed his God as "Father." All of those instances of the name "Jehovah" in the Bible - especially the NWT were added.

Yet, it is men and their organizations, not God and Christ, that is being promoted and the masses are being cleverly corralled into so that they can be controlled, captives, burdened down, made fearful and dependent upon "The Organization."

Christ never made or makes one fearful and burdened down.

The WTBTS and indeed all religion on this planet has failed miserably to properly represent God and His Messiah.

Like the people in Nimrods day who settled in the valley in the land of Shinar, the WTBTS has built a "city" (The Organization) with a proverbial tower (The Governing Body) at the top and they have made a celebrated name for THEMSELVES: Jehovah's Witnesses. The organization seeks to be worshiped and it maintains that "IT" is the way to the Father. (Read the Baptismal Vow).

That baptismal vow (I took 25 years ago) said that I cannot be a worshiper of God unless I associate myself with the organization and become a JW. So the organization is saying that it is THE WAY to the Father.

All JWs are familiar with the expressions "In the truth" or "Are you in the truth?" These mean one is member of the WTBTS. Well, this implies that the WTBTS hails itself as THE TRUTH.

All JW have an idea what being in a "spiritual paradise" is. This means that being membered with the WT organization places one in such a "paradise" where they feast on "spiritual food" from meeting attendance, field service, etc. It is a "lifestyle" all JW adopt. Well, this is saying that the WTBTS is THE LIFE.

Yet, Jesus said at John 14:6:

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Yet, an organization has made itself all of those things and has been able to turn many into adulterers with the name another - other than disciple of Christ - attached to themselves.

Only if the world listens to Christ when he said to the Devil:

Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through God’s mouth. (Not religious organizations mouth)

Only if the world would listen and obey God's command given at Luke 9:35:

This is my Son, the one that has been chosen. Listen to him. (Not religious organization who is NOT my Head)

No, I would never worship, revere or serve the religious organizations of men. I worship the Father in Heaven and serve only ONE Master, Christ Jesus.
And neither will I become an adulterer - become unfaithful to my Master by taking upon myself the name of another wanting to be my Head, Master and Lord over me. Namely, religious organizations. I reject their fancy titles that neither God or Christ commanded them to take.

i received an email from one of the elder in the local congregation.

i am not dfed so there is not a problem there, i am just an aggressive fader.. one of the last things i said to this elder before i stopped all activities was that i do not agree with the borg taking all the assets from the congregations.. here is what the elder said in the email:.

Type and Anti-Type, the killing of the Faithful and Discreet Slave. Whats thier angle and how do they spin out of this one?

it would seam that the changing of the type anti-type teaching kills their claim as the faithful and discreet slave class as it is only a parable according to peter at luke 12:41. obviously i don't think they will ever come out and actually say that the f&ds is just a parable, so when one asks what will the answer be, to spin out of this obvious problem?.

also what do you think is the reason for the change in this teaching?

is it more to do with getting rid of doctrine that can be criticized or could it be that they are trying to make it as though they are really not in control of the congregations so as to say we aren't responsible when the prosecution comes knocking over future pedophile case?

I don't think there is an angle. I believe that the organization had to come to grips with an error without admitting that it has been in error.

Identification of the F&DS is not difficult at all if one listens to Christ (and not men).

Jesus asked the question at Matthew 24:45:

Who REALLY is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?

A close examination of Matthew 24:48-51 gives a clear answer.
The F&DS WOULD NOT be concerned with ascertaining dates of his Masters arrival. It would be the evil slave who would be concerned with dates.
The WTBTS had foretold 1914 has being that date. Jesus had already said at Matthew 24:42: "Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming."
Yet, the WTBTS has taught that it DOES KNOW when the Lord is coming and announce it as 1914. This shows that it has not obeyed it's Master and it has not been watchful. It has longed ceased being watchful. Since it is no longer keeping "on the watch," false teachings have entered in. The WTBTS is an evil slave, not a F&DS.
The F&DS will not be concerned with dates, times and seasons. This slave will remember and obey what it Master told them: "Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming."
This F&DS today are persons who reject any teaching that is contrary to what Christ said at Matthew 24:42. Because of their stand and obedience to Christ, the evil slave (who teaches dates) beat them in a proverbial sense for rejecting "organizational teachings" and being faithful to their true Master, Jesus Christ.
Any who have been a JW or who is currently one knows full well the pressure the JW is placed under to conform to organizational rules and regulations and unquestionable acceptance of its teachings. If you doubt or question, you will be "beaten."
The F&DS slave is truly discreet. How so? Because they are not numerous and not easily identified. They do not belong to any religious organization on earth and fully recognize that God's Kingdom is not on earth in any form. That is why they place faith in the invisible God and approach him in steadfast prayer - through the only channel made available, Christ Jesus - and they receive via that channel.
They do not seek answers through a book man stood up and made holy and gave a name to (the Bible). They do not accept that the Bible which came many years after Christ ascended as "The Word of God." They are faithful in a discreet way (not like the rest of the world) and accept only ONE as "The Word of God," Christ Jesus.
They do not recognize organizations of men on earth as channels by which God uses. No! They KNOW that there is only One Way, One Truth and One Life.
This F&DS places his/her full reliance and trust not in what can be seen (Bibles, books, men, and their organizations), but places their trust and faith in that which they cannot see: The Invisible God and His Son.
That is what faith is according to the Apostle Paul:

Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld

It takes no faith to believe in what one can see (Bibles, books, men and organizations).
Discreetness is exercising faith in what one cannot see.
The WTBTS and indeed ALL religious organizations have misled the world by placing visible icons in from of them. These icons being Bibles, Korans, organizations, men of so-called renown and actually making the people revere and bow down to those things. Open your eyes!
People are not made spiritual but carnal. They are made indiscreet and trusting of those icons.
If one is indiscreet, they cannot be spiritual. Jesus said that our worship to the Father MUST be with spirit and truth. Spirit cannot be seen.

Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.

Sadly, a F&DS would be rejected by this world and its religions as the world rejected Christ.
The very ones within the WTBTS claiming to be a F&DS are not that at all. They are impostors.
